This place is a hidden gem. You MUST try it. And the server, Kristi, is AWESOME! Seriously, best server I've ever had. And the food, OMG, so good! Prices can't be best. I don't know how they make any money with prices so low. And dessert, get the banana pudding. It's amazing! And $0.99!!

DELICIOUS! I had the jumbo pulled pork sandwich, cole slaw, collard greens (AMAZING) and the fried okra / squash basket with a sweet tea. Yea I like to eat! Everything tasted good or great. 0 disappointment. The service was friendly and awesome. Truly great experience. Low prices.

Great ribs. I went here based on the smell in the air and I wasn't disappointed. I was made to feel right at home. The service and the food are really good.

I eat here about every other month and have never had anything less than great food and stellar service. Ate there about an hour and a half ago and saw Christie (sp ?) provide great friendly service to every table in there.

As always the BBQ is awesome. Don't even think about going to any other place in town. If you want good BBQ come here. Always fast, friendly and delicious.

I was not impressed. We ordered pork plate and 1/2 chicken. The chicken was done but not fall off the bone melt in your mouth like I have had before. The sliced pork was just ok. Green beans were ok and my spouse liked the Brunswick stew. They were out of rolls (said the truck didn't come) but gave me hush puppies in its place. Will probably not go back. Waitress was friendly service fast but we were the only 2 people there.

"This place is money!", is what the family rejoiced when we catered from JR's earlier today. In fact, the BBQ was so good, I had to create a Yelp account to pay it forward on a meal well done. Fantastic ribs, corn fritters, Brunswick Stew, and Banana pudding!! The chicken, potato salad and beans also received high praise along with the spicy BBQ sauce. Do yourself a favor like this Dallas native and give JR's a shot.

Y U M M Y!!! Everything from the sides, salad bar, sweet tea, and Bar BBQ was delicious!! Nothing gets less than a 5...a sure place to go for great eats!!!

First ask for Kristi as your waitress. She is an amazing food tour guide and so pleasant. Appetizer must have are the corn nuggets! Fried green tomatoes were great also. The beef, and ribs were so tender and fell off the bone. Finished the evening off with homemade banana pudding. Seriously some of the best food and service I have ever had.
